spring scene

Today I was feeling creative and decided to make a little potion for my hair. I got the idea on a Free People braid tutorial, then researched it further and added my own touches. It's an all natural conditioner/spray for your hair.

Ingredients:
-1 black tea bag
-1 green tea bag
-a squirt of honey
-a sprinkle of sea salt
-flower petals of your choice (I used rose)
-H2O!

As you can see I'm not one for measuring. Spray on wet or dry hair for volume and shine. Brush through and HAVE FUN!!!

I also picked up peach colored nail polish and lipstick for an early start on spring fashions.

My Valentines Day with Tommy was lovely. He took me to dinner on Monday night and yesterday I got roses, chocolates, and my favorite sent (lavender) of body wash, bubble bath, and bath beads in the mail. I couldn't ask for more from him. Our second Valentines Day :).

Spring cant come soon enough! Pastels are in which I'm excited about. Also the color orange. I'm not the biggest orange fan but I'll give it a chance :). My aunt came over with an orange barre she bought for me the other night- perfect timing. And of course, my favorite, floral print.
