Deeply within we lie hidden
You do not know me any longer
I do not laugh with you anymore.
The dream, like a walled house,
Blackened by time,
Still stands in a pose of expectation.

We look through a hatch in the wind;
And rain and snow seem blue,
The sea a piece of lace
Thrown as a sequin over the grave.

But no word in the wind
No echo from bygone days.

A tongue of fire spits against the shore
And the sun is dancing
But without any echo in the land.

Deeply concealed we lie in ourselves;
You cannot see me now
And I have lost all my feeling for you.
