Cairdeas, Dilseacht, Gra

Friendship, Loyalty, Love

Cairdeas, Dilseacht, Gra means friendship, loyalty and love in Gaelic. the words friendship loyalty and love stands for an Irish Claddagh ring which has two hands (friendship) holding a heart (love) and a crown on top (loyalty). I wanted something to represent my Irish heritage/my Irish dancing :)  In between the words is a Triquetra, a Celtic design/symbol. It's also called a Celtic triangle or trinity knot. It has so many different meanings that I looked up and they're so interesting.

"The Triquetra represents the threefold nature of the Goddess as virgin, mother and crone. It also symbolizes life, death, and rebirth and the three forces of nature: earth, air, and water. The inner three circles represent the female element and fertility."
